Virtual Colour Analysis Competency and Verification Program

Virtual Colour Analysis Competency and Verification Program

Carol Brailey, in partnership with the International Image Institute, introduces the Virtual Colour Analysis Competency and Verification Program—a professional evaluation for experienced colour analysts who want to measure their accuracy, consistency, and readiness in delivering virtual colour analysis services.

Successful participants will be invited to join a Verified Virtual Colour Analysis Analyst Directory on carolbrailey.com and the International Image Institute website. You will also be able to share on your bio, with clients and your audience that you have been verified through this program for your virtual colour analysis skills, signalling a recognized level of competency, accuracy, and professional credibility. This verification can help enhance client confidence and strengthen professional trust in your virtual colour analysis services.

This program is also ideal for professionals who wish to assess and confirm their readiness to offer virtual colour analysis services.

The program provides a clear, objective framework to evaluate virtual analysis performance, identify strengths and blind spots, and benchmark results against established verification standards.

This is not a training program. It is a professional assessment of consistency, accuracy, and decision-making within a virtual colour analysis environment.

Program Components
1. Private Kick-Off Session (1 hour)

Begin with a private 1:1 Zoom consultation with Carol Brailey.

Before the session, you will submit one sample client (details only, not your result) for a process review. Carol will walk through her approach, key observations and other method considerations. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions before beginning your 10 assessments below.

2. 10 Client Assessment Cases

You will then submit 10 virtual colour analysis clients you have personally completed (and not previously analysed in person).

For each client, you will provide:

  • Your assigned colour analysis result
  • Supporting notes or observations
  • Ideally these clients will include a wide range of natural colourings.

Carol will independently assess the same clients without reviewing your results. Outcomes will then be compared to measure alignment.

3. Assessment Report

You will receive a written evaluation outlining:

  • Areas of alignment and discrepancy
  • Core strengths
  • Potential blind spots
  • Repeating patterns across cases
  • Opportunities for development

4. Final Debrief Session (1 hour)

A private 1 hour review session over Zoom with Carol to discuss your results, key insights, and next steps.

Verified Virtual Colour Analysis Directory

Participants who achieve 70%+ alignment will be invited to be listed in the Verified Virtual Colour Analysis Directory on carolbrailey.com and the International Image Institute website.

Directory inclusion signifies demonstrated alignment with established verification standards in virtual colour analysis.

Reassessment Option

Participants who do not meet the 70% threshold may apply for a future reassessment at a reduced investment (details to be announced).

Optional Submission Preparation Service – $350 USD

An optional service to prepare your submissions for assessment, including:

  • Formatting images into standardized backgrounds (Virtual Colour Analysis Kit Excel file)
  • Quality control and submission review
  • Identification of missing or incomplete materials
  • Folder and file organization

All submissions must otherwise follow Carol Brailey photo guidelines and International Image Institute requirements.

Important Note

This program evaluates alignment with Carol Brailey’s and the International Image Institute’s methodology at the time of assessment. Participation, scores, and directory listing do not constitute certification, accreditation, licensure, or a guarantee of future results.
